About Me

I studied Computer Science at Florida State University and subsequently Information Security Policy & Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s H. John Heinz III College of Information Systems and Public Policy. I also have a number of cyber security certifications including: OSCPGREMGPENGXPNGMOBGNFAGCIHGCFA

After completing both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, I began my cybersecurity career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Computer Scientist. After learning a ton about digital forensics and malware reverse-engineering, I decided to leave the FBI to explore opportunities in the private sector. I’ve worked as a Blue Team security engineer at Google, IBM, Slack, Dropbox, Okta, and currently Meta.

Having worked in cybersecurity for over 10 years, I’ve gained a lot of experience with enterprise intrusion detection and response, malware analysis, scripting/tool development, automation, and more. I intend to utilize this blog to share some of my broad knowledge.
